Matt Magill joined BCWI in February, 2017. His core responsibilities include managing and analyzing performance data from BCWI participants and clients. He is passionate about using research and applied statistics to help Christian organizations flourish in the real world.
Matt also works as a Graduate Research Fellow at Seattle Pacific University, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. In this role, he has managed and supported research projects on a variety of topics, including critical success factors for human resource initiatives, work-life integration, work-faith integration, and motivational/contextual predictors of employee proenvironmental behavior. His Master’s Thesis was a validation study of the Christian Work-Faith-Economics Integration measure.
Before starting graduate school, Matt attended Whitworth University. It was there that he discovered his love of learning and research. He could often be found engaging his peers in late night philosophical debates and academic conversations.
Matt currently lives in Seattle with his wife, who is pursuing her Masters in Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary. Both are avid runners, and they love to explore the city by foot.
