Doug serves as a Senior Consultant at BCWI, specializing in culture engagement, leadership development, and strategic planning.
Doug has 25+ years of senior leadership experience. Early on, he consulted with a workplace assessment publisher, leading a team of I/O psychologists and talent consultants in designing employee selection and development systems that incorporated psychometric surveys, 360-degree feedback, and culture surveys to achieve measurable performance outcomes. After guiding a merger and acquisition process for the company, Doug launched a global organizational development consultancy. During his tenure, Doug authored the REACH Quotient, a survey-based solution for people and culture development used around the world by trainers, coaches, and organizational development professionals. Doug’s academic experience has been in HR development and strategic leadership; he designed a master’s degree in strategic leadership from a Christian worldview. He serves in Christ-centered graduate school programs and contributes to scholarly conferences and publications. Doug is a member of the advisory board for the OrgDev Institute of Australia.
A Senior Certified Professional (SHRM) and a Senior Professional in HR (HRCI), Doug also has certificates in equal employment opportunity studies (Cornell) and decision sciences (Wharton). He holds multiple degrees in finance (Palm Beach Atlantic University), HR, and organizational economics (Ph.D., University of Sarasota). His post-graduate work includes systematic theology (Reformed Theological Seminary).
Doug has extensive experience in serving and supporting non-profit ministry organizations. He has served on several boards of directors for Christian ministries and a school, with a focus on engaging diverse talent (Ephesians 2:8-10). Doug serves as a church elder, teaches Sunday School, and plays guitar on the praise team.
Doug, his wife Lisa, and their three children live in Florida. They enjoy spending time outdoors including gardening, kayaking, and tennis.
