As Best Christian Workplaces Institute’s Research and Culture Analyst, Gabrielle’s role includes managing and analyzing performance data from BCWI participants and clients. She is passionate about using research and data analytics to support organizations, and she has several years of experience working in these types of roles for Christian nonprofits.
Gabrielle holds an MA degree in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology and is in the final year of her PhD in the same field at Seattle Pacific University. Through several research roles, she has specialized in studying her own age group of emerging adults. Her research includes studying millennials’ leadership development process and working with a grant aimed toward researching how churches can meaningfully engage 20-somethings. Currently, she is writing her dissertation on the experiences that shape young adults’ ability to be leaders who balance their own convictions with the perspectives of those around them.
Gabrielle currently lives in Seattle but makes frequent visits back to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where she grew up as a child of missionaries and where she now consults missionary teams. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, long-distance running, and traveling around the Pacific Northwest.
