Sarah serves as the Executive Assistant for Al Lopus and for Jay Bransford. She has over a decade of nonprofit experience, with roles ranging from the executive assistant to the department head.

She fell in love with church ministry working at her home church in the sleepy fisherman-town of Sebastian, Florida. A decade later, Sarah holds an Advanced Diploma of Ministry from Bible college, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. She has since worked with large multi-site churches and nonprofits like Hillsong Church and The Bowery Mission, managing executive schedules, public speaking, administrating building renovations, hosting conferences, running teams of over 300 staff and volunteers, and leading those teams through organization-wide change.

Sarah is honored to use her unique educational and ministry experience as a context for serving the mission of BCWI.

She was a Kids’ Director before starting her own children’s ministry at home with four children ranging in age from infant to 12 years old. She and her husband Chris are settled in a quaint suburb of Phoenix, where they run a tech podcast, bake for their neighbors, and volunteer in their local church.
