Tara is an organizational leadership and engagement consultant.  She is an experienced talent strategist, HR manager, trainer, public speaker and culture champion.  She has expertise in implementing best practices that increase employee and volunteer engagement, managerial competence, and organizational outcomes.

Tara provides consulting through the Employee Engagement Survey, 360 Leadership Review process, and Culture Consulting services.

She has diverse experience consulting with churches and other Christian organizations through her work with Best Christian Workplaces Institute, Willow Creek Association, and the Salvation Army.  Tara spent ten years in talent development at Willow Creek Community Church and before that, in leadership roles at Aon Hewitt, a global Human Resources consulting firm.

Tara is certified as an instructor with the Ken Blanchard Institute and Korn-Ferry/Lominger International.  She is certified in Emotional Intelligence EQ-i 2.0 and Myers-Briggs assessment tools.  She also received her coaching certificate as a Lay Counseling Leader with the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.  Tara holds a B.A. in Psychology and Business from Bradley University.

Tara’s diverse background spans from brain research to computer programming.  She loves to learn and is always up for an adventure.  Tara, her husband Rich, and their son reside in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where, among other activities, they love golf.
